Edition 15 · Amsterdam Light Festival 2026–2027
The 15th edition runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. A new festival route brings light art to Amsterdam’s winter cityscape. From the water, the experience combines the artworks with historic bridges, canal houses and reflections on the canals.

This experience is especially suited to a romantic date, anniversary, honeymoon or marriage proposal. Captain Gus keeps the atmosphere relaxed and personal. If you are planning a proposal, tell us beforehand so flowers, Champagne and timing can be prepared discreetly.
Boarding in central Amsterdam
Our standard boarding point is Amstel 51, 1018 EJ Amsterdam, beside H’ART Museum. Festival routing can vary with the current navigable route, canal traffic and operational restrictions.
